Sprout Brings Back Indoor Markets, Rekindling Community Connection in Little Falls.
After a few quiet years following the COVID-19 pandemic, Sprout is proud to welcome back one of its most beloved traditions: the indoor community market. On Saturday, November 29, Sprout’s space at 609 13th Ave NE #8 in Little Falls was once again filled with the warmth, creativity, and connection that local markets are known for. Held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in celebration of Small Business Saturday, the Indoor Winter Market showcased a wide variety of local vendors offering handcrafted goods, baked items, canned and preserved foods, and other thoughtfully made products perfect for holiday gifting. The market created an inviting, festive atmosphere where neighbors could shop local, enjoy friendly conversation, and support small businesses rooted in the region. Vendors brought an impressive range of offerings, highlighting the talent and dedication of local makers and food producers. From homemade baked goods and shelf-stable pantry items to unique handcrafted gifts, the market reflected Sprout’s mission to strengthen local food systems, entrepreneurship, and community connection—all under one cozy roof. Sprout’s second Indoor Winter Market on December 13th built on the success of the first, bringing the community together once again for a lively and welcoming winter gathering. Vendors filled the space with a wide variety of locally made goods, seasonal foods, and handcrafted items, creating a festive atmosphere and reinforcing the value of shopping local during the winter months. The strong turnout and positive response highlighted the community’s enthusiasm for seeing this market tradition continue in the years ahead. A special highlight of the day was a live food demonstration and sampling led by Katy Cassady, who showcased creative crostini toppings and invited guests to taste and explore new flavor combinations. The demonstration added an interactive element to the market and reflected Sprout’s ongoing commitment to education, local food, and community connection. Sprout extends a heartfelt thank you to the community members who attended and supported the market, the vendors who shared their time, talent, and products, and the Sprout staff whose dedication and behind-the-scenes work made the event possible. The collective involvement of all who participated played a key role in the market’s success and reinforces the value of gathering, supporting one another, and growing these traditions together.
