Anishinaabe singer/song writer Annie Humphrey talks with Sprout during a writing camp for young women. During the camp, the young women from Inger, Ball Club, Prescott, Mission, and Cass Lake painted the canvas that would become "The Seven Teachings" tipi installation at Sprout in Little Falls, MN.
Annie begins the conversation talking about her work with jingle dresses. For more information on jingle dresses see the documentary film created by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and Twin Cities PBS called 'The Jingle Dress Tradition'. https://video.tpt.org/video/tpt-co-pr..."
